Our Story

It all began in the small town of Moundridge, KS, where we both grew up. From an early age, our paths seemed destined to cross in more ways than one. Believe it or not, Luke even wrote “Marry Kassidy Kaufman” as one of his life goals within his kindergarten time capsule—talk about calling your shot! Little did he know, that bold prediction would actually come true. His other prediction was to go play running back for the Chiefs; he's still waiting on that phone call.

Although we’ve grown beyond those kindergarten classrooms, the childlike love and companionship we share has never faded. We started dating in high school, navigating Friday night football games and study sessions, and became inseparable. Of course, we thought we’d be “mature” when college rolled around, so we decided to break up and give ourselves space to “find ourselves.” That lasted all of three weeks (okay, maybe two and a half), and we realized we just couldn’t imagine life apart.

Fast forward to post-college adventures—Luke moved to Atlanta to pursue a law degree at Emory University while Kassidy stayed in the Kansas City area pursuing an occupational therapy degree at KUMC. Because Atlanta wasn't far enough (😉), Luke’s adventurous spirit led him to spend a semester abroad in Shanghai, China, while Kass stayed in KC. With a 14-hour time difference, we became pros at finding ways to stay connected; thank goodness for FaceTime!

Now, as we write this, we’re both in our final semesters of school and counting down the days until May 2025. Why? Because in the same month, we’ll be checking off two major milestones: graduating and getting married!

As we reflect on our journey—from childhood sweethearts to partners who’ve grown together through so many stages of life—we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with all of you. See you at the altar! ❤️
