Emma and Luke started talking in the summer of 2016. They shared their first date at Daddy-o’s ice cream shop and officially started dating that September.

They share a love of sports and were each others #1 fan throughout High School.

They celebrated their 1 year anniversary on a gondola ride on the St. Croix river.

They shared memories of prom, homecoming, and other school festivities together. Beyond school and sports, Emma and Luke adventured around Minnesota, including cabin weekends, ice skating, ice castles, the state fair, and enjoying time with friends and family.

Then with a little liquid courage, on New Year's Eve of 2020, Emma reached back out to Luke and it wasn't long before he made the road trip up to Grand Forks and they reconnected right away. They officially started their relationship again on March 10th.

They took their first trip to Chicago together.

While being in a long distance relationship, their commitment grew as Luke made many trips down to Fayette and Emma up to Minneapolis.

Luke even met up with Emma and Tiffany while they were in Italy.

Luke graduated college and started working at Target while Emma finished up her senior year of college and final season of basketball.

Then in June, Luke proposed to Emma while at a cabin with her family at sunset on the dock. He even managed to surprise her!

We celebrated the engagement with some of our friends.
