One from California and the other from Indiana, Kelsey and Luke are often asked how they met being from different states, the long story short is they met through mutual friends. However, there is a theory called the "invisible string theory" saying that there is a connection between people regardless of distance or circumstance. When Kelsey and Luke were introduced to one another it was like they knew each other their whole lives, there was that string drawing them to one another.

Having been introduced by Miranda, Luke's cousin and Kelsey's best friend, our story really starts at the St. Leon Tavern, where Kelsey and Miranda were working at the time. Luke would come at closing time to help sweep and clean up before walking Kelsey's dog with her. It was on these walks that they really got to know each other and started to fall in love.

While Luke was happily taking his time to get to know Kelsey, she was not quite so patient and finally decided to ask Luke on their first date. They went to a pottery class that was truly intended for Kelsey and her sisters. From there the adventure began, with Luke introducing Kelsey to hunting and bow shooting, while Kelsey introduced Luke to cooking and painting classes. Together they love to travel around the country, play card games at home, and spend time with their friends, family, and two dogs.

After almost three years of dating, on December 14th, Luke took Kelsey out to his uncle's property where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
