Our Wedding

Our story first began in the spring of 2018. Junior Prom was approaching, and we were both in need of a date to the dance-so we agreed to go together. In the weeks leading up to the dance, we figured we should get to know each other better. Initial texts became daily conversations, which became weekend dates to our favorite restaurants. That summer, we spent as many days together as we could, now an official couple. Going into our Senior Year, we were closer than ever. We always found a way to see each other in between classes, even if it was just for a quick moment. During these times, many special memories and experiences were made, including senior homecoming and our first Christmas and spring break together. As we came to the 1 year mark in our relationship, we were met with the reality that we would have to do long distance. Luke moved in August of 2019 to pursue a degree in financial planning at Missouri State, while Reese attended SIUC to study Sonography. Doing long distance with a five hour drive for three years was very challenging, but we took advantage of school breaks and many weekends to see each other. After three years of numerous phone calls and FaceTimes, Reese had the opportunity to join Luke in Springfield to complete clinicals at Mercy Hospital during our final year of college. Finally reunited, we continued to make memories and celebrate accomplishments together, both graduating in the spring of 2023 and starting jobs. After 2 years in Springfield MO we moved to St. Louis with our cat Evie, to further our careers in OB-GYN Ultrasound &amp; Wealth Management, and be closer to family. On August 9th 2024, Luke proposed to Reese during a beautiful summer sunset across the pond of a local winery. We are so excited to celebrate with each of you in June 2025!
