It all began in 2020 at the Northfield Target, where two strangers, Izabelle and Luke, crossed paths while working together. Although they worked well together, Izabelle was eager to be friends with Luke and his friend Shayla. Despite their good rapport at work, Luke was a little shy and hesitant to take things further.

It took three years for Luke to find the courage to ask Izabelle out, but in the end, it was actually Shayla, with her encouraging words, who gave him the final push. With a little nudge from his friend, Luke finally made his move.

What started as a casual outing soon turned into regular dates, where they bonded over long conversations, shared interests, and discovering just how much they had in common. During that time, Izabelle lost her beloved grandmother to cancer—an emotional moment that brought Izabelle and Luke closer, as they leaned on each other for support. At the same time, Luke received a big promotion at work, which brought excitement and new opportunities but also a lot of added responsibility. And if that wasn’t enough, the two of them moved three times between the two of them. Despite all the changes, their relationship stayed grounded, with each challenge only bringing them closer.

Through it all, they found comfort in each other, proving that they could navigate life’s highs and lows together. It was clear that no matter what came their way, they’d always have one another. And after everything they’d been through, it felt like the perfect moment to get engaged.

Now they live in Eau Claire Wisconsin with their own little animal pack. Which consists of 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 bunnies!
