Where can I stay?

The Coeur d’Alene Resort (quick 15–20 minute drive from Dalton Gardens). For more budget-friendly options, try hotels in downtown Coeur d’Alene like Hotel 37, Best Western Plus, or the Cedars Floating Homes area. If you prefer vacation rentals, search nearby neighborhoods in Coeur d’Alene or on Airbnb for family-friendly houses. Book soon—rooms fill up fast for summer weekends.

Is there a reception to follow?

Yes — we’ll celebrate with a reception immediately following the ceremony at the same venue in Dalton Gardens. Expect iced beverages, dinner, and dessert; a formal timeline will be posted closer to the date. If you have dietary needs, please let us know when you RSVP.

What is the dress code?

Dressy-casual for a summer backyard wedding. We’ll be outdoors on lawn in Dalton Gardens on July 18, so please dress comfortably for uneven ground and bring a light layer for cooler evenings.

When should I rsvp by?

Please RSVP by May 23rd. We ask that you respond as soon as you can so we can finalize headcounts. When you RSVP, please include any dietary restrictions. If your plans change after submitting your RSVP, email us at vrdetwiler@gmail.com so we can update your reservation.

What airport should i fly into?

Fly into Spokane International Airport (GEG) — it’s the closest major airport, about a 35–40 minute drive to Dalton Gardens. If you need help coordinating transportation or carpooling from Spokane, let us know when you RSVP.
