It all began on March 14, 2020, when we were introduced by mutual friends. What started as a casual meeting quickly turned into something unforgettable as we spent the next four days together, pulling all-nighters and cherishing every moment before Derek had to return home from college due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the challenges of distance, we found ways to see each other, traveling between Kenosha, WI, and Chicago, IL. But just as our connection deepened, we were faced with a big decision—Lucy was set to move to Florida in just a month. Would we take the leap to continue our relationship?

We did!

The next few years tested our commitment, with countless flights and road trips between Illinois and Florida. It wasn’t easy, but through every challenge, our bond grew stronger. The miles apart only made us cherish the time we had together even more.

Now, five years later, we’re excited to celebrate the start of this new chapter with all of you—our wedding! Along the way, we’ve built a beautiful life together, becoming homeowners and setting the foundation for everything we want to achieve as a team.
