Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors on the mansion lawn, and the reception to follow inside.

What should I wear? What is semi-formal/cocktail attire?

Cocktail attire is a balance between formal and casual, elegant and comfortable.

He should wear:

A suit and tie, dark or light depending on the season and time of day. A dinner jacket and slacks can also work. Consider adding a little flair with an elegant pocket square or wristwatch.

She should wear:

A cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top. A well-tailored pantsuit or a dressy jumpsuit paired with tasteful jewelry is also an excellent option for a semi-formal wedding.

Do not wear shorts, sneakers or polos. No jeans or t-shirts. (Dressy jeans do not count as semi-formal/cocktail wear!) This is a special day, bring your dancing shoes and dress to impress!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There will be ample parking available at the Renwick Mansion at no cost to guests. For overflow parking, there is also street parking available.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones! However, due to the historic nature of the venue and the size limitations it incurs, we are only able to accommodate guests to a certain total. We hope for all of our guests, including parents, to have an evening of relaxation, and so we request that with the exception of immediate family, the ceremony and reception be for adults only. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Absolutely! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #RoadToRodman so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
