We met through work. Both of us were working for the UW-Stevens Point Dining Program.

We went to Guu's on Main for some drinks, walked around the Steven's Point Sculpture Park, and then sat and talked until 3 AM.

Jared proposed on October 1st, 2022. We were on an early anniversary trip in Copper Harbor, Michigan. He asked the question while we were watching the sunset on Brockway Mountain.

We enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, and gardening together.
