It all started with a click, download, swipe, message, notification... Modern-day dating is so romantic.

It was Clark's unique outlook on the world that inspired me (Lydia) to reach out. We matched, messaged, and met up for a date. There was an immediate connection for both of us. Lots of laughing and talks about our families, faith, and dreams for the future. At the end of the date, Clark told me he would marry me. It seemed like a line, but he sealed it with a pinky promise, and that was how our story began.

We have been inseparable from day one, despite the long distance. Every weekend was an adventure: exploring towns, new hobbies, music, good food, rodeos, fairs, date nights, family trips, and church.

In February, Clark proposed, and I immediately accepted. Excited does not even begin to describe our feelings on this next chapter of life. The journey may not always be easy, but it is worth every step by each other's side.
