This love began sometime in the fall of 2003 in Fayetteville, NC. in mid August we were both in our senior year of high school and shared a culinary arts class. It wasn’t quite love at first site, but it was intriguing to say the least. A short conversation about our life uncovered that we were both from Michigan and sparked a friendship. It has now been 20 years since our first date. Little did I know at the time this would also be my future husband.

We starting dating October of 2003. By November, we were spending every moment of everyday together and our love blossomed over night. When January of 2004 came, we had the pleasure of meeting each others families and James informed my parents that he intended on making me his wife when the time came. Needless to say not everyone was on board with this talk of marriage, due to our age and stability. James and I felt strongly that we’d rather have hard times together than have them easy apart.

On June 4th 2004 all of the talk had become reality, despite the feelings of whomever we were now Mr. & Mrs. Bryant. We had no idea what we were doing nor how to do it lol, but we were ready to face whatever. See we knew that as long as we kept GOD first in any and everything we couldn’t fail. We decided to began our new life in a town called Shreveport LA, there we learned how to become adults and live life outside our parents care together. We enjoyed the blessings of the unity that God brought together for about 10 years before something happened that would change our lives forever.

ITS A GIRL!!! We were blessed with a beautiful baby girl on Dec. 4, 2014. Gabrielle brought a joy and feeling that we never knew existed, we’re parents now and we love every moment of it. HUH??? ITS A BOY!!! Well ok this was unexpected GOD has blessed us with a baby boy on April 4, 2019. Just when we thought we couldn’t feel happier we were proven wrong James III did just that. We have our girl and boy what more could we asked for we are truly blessed beyond measures.

WOW! 20YRS! Who would’ve thought? I’ll tell you who, GOD did and so did we. You see we bet on us 20+ years ago and we will continue to bet on us forever. What God has brought together we refuse to allow anything or anyone to tear apart. 20 years is not easy, but 20 years is worth it when you’re in LOVE with your spouse and realize your life without one another cannot be imagined. Our children are now 9 and 4 and we are still currently in Shreveport LA. Life is wonderful for us at the moment, we are so blessed to be able to invite you all to come share and be apart of our special day and celebration. It’s a celebration of Unity, Love, Hope, Creation, Longevity, Blessings, Marriage, Family and so much more.
