Where will the ceremony be held?
The ceremony will be held at the Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family in Washington, DC. The ceremony will begin at 1:30pm.
Where will the reception be held?
The reception will be held at Celebrations at the Bay. Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00pm and dinner will begin at 7:00pm.
Is there a recommended hotel?

How do I get to the reception venue?
There will be complimentary shuttles provided for guests staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Courtyard, Homewood Suites, and DoubleTree in Linthicum Heights. View the Shuttle Schedule tab for more details!
I've never been to a Ukrainian wedding before! What should I expect?
We will have English explanations for ceremony traditions included in our programs and receptions traditions on the back of our menu cards
What should I wear?
We ask that you wear formal attire such as a long dress or cocktail dress, jumpsuit, or blazer with dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Please refrain from wearing white, as it is reserved for the bride. This includes white-based dresses with prints. Please no jeans or sneakers.
Will there be an open bar?
Papaya will be picking up the tab for our bar so drink up! Be sure to try the signature drinks! ***EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN ID AT THE BAR***
What will we be eating?
Everyone will be served the same dual entree of chicken marsala and grilled salmon with pineapple mango salsa unless otherwise indicated due to dietary restrictions.
Can I bring a guest?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests, we can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will indicate "Your name + Guest" if a plus one has been provided.
When should I RSVP by?
To help us with planning we ask that you kindly RSVP by June 17th, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by then, we will be forced to mark you as a not attending. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, so we hope you can understand.
