Kyle and Lydia first met in the fall of 2018 at the University of Central Missouri! They started dating in October, 2018 and the rest was history.

Kyle and Lydia both graduated UCM in May of 2022 and moved to Lee's Summit, Missouri near Kansas City to start their careers and next step in life. Over the past 2 years they have made so many memories, grew together as a couple, and have reached several milestones including getting their sweet puppy Maple.

In April of 2024, Kyle took Lydia on a surprise "graduation" trip to Big Cedar (a lifetime favorite place of theirs) to celebrate her upcoming graduation of her masters degree. Little did Lydia know the "graduation" trip turned into celebrating their engagement after Kyle proposed on April 19th, 2024. After 6 years of dating, Kyle and Lydia are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives!
