What Time Should I Arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 p.m. Please plan to arrive no later than 4:30 p.m. Do not forget to allot time for traffic when considering the time for your commute.
What is the Dress Code?
Following with the traditional description of the formal dress code, we kindly ask that men wear a suit and tie while ladies wear a long dress or formal cocktail dress. Jumpsuits are also a good option for ladies. We do specifically request no white or ivory tones, denim (in any form), and sneakers. Since the wedding is at the end of spring and beginning of summer, bright colors are encouraged.
Are the Ceremony and Reception on the Same Property?
Yes! Once you arrive at The Springs Weatherford, you will follow the white picket fence to the back of the property and park at Parker Manor. Once you leave your car at Parker Manor, you will follow the sidewalk to the white chapel a few yards away. When the ceremony is over, you will walk back on the sidewalk to Parker Manor to enjoy the reception.
May I Bring A Plus One?
We truly wish everyone could celebrate with us! However, due to venue accommodations, we kindly request that only the people on your invitation attend.
May I Bring My Children?
In an ideal world, all family units would be able to attend the wedding! However, due to venue accommodations, this is a primarily adult event unless your child is specifically listed on the invitation.
Where Can I Find Your Wedding Registry?
Your attendance at our wedding is the greatest gift to us! If you would like wedding gift ideas, you will find our registry under the "Registry" tab on this website. We are registered at Amazon, Dillard's, and Pottery Barn.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and the reception will be held indoors! The only other times you will be outdoors will be walking from your car to the chapel and then walking back to Parker Manor after the ceremony.
