It all began in the most unexpected place – a McDonald’s parking lot in December 2014. We were just two teenagers from different high schools who met by chance, but that moment sparked the beginning of something special. Through late-night phone calls, weekend visits, and everything in between, we made it work while juggling high school life.

Our very first Christmas together - 20 days after meeting - we were inseparable.

Our adventures soon went global. Lydia became Liam’s biggest cheerleader, travelling to watch him compete in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Paralympics.

And again in the Pyeongchang 2018 Paralympics! Those moments only strengthened our bond, showing us how much we love to travel together.

In 2022, we moved into our first place together, a space that quickly filled with love – and fur!

We adopted our first cat, Whiskey, on February 24, 2023, and little did we know our family was just beginning to grow.

On July 11, 2023, during a dreamy European getaway, Liam proposed on a balcony overlooking the sunset in Santorini. It was a perfect moment, and we couldn’t wait to start planning the rest of our lives together.

Just a month later, on August 12, 2023, we welcomed our second cat, Smokey,

In February 2024, we brought home our golden retriever puppy, Bella, officially completing our little fur family.

And the adventure doesn’t stop there. In May 2024, Lydia travelled to Calgary to watch Liam win the World Championships, a moment neither of them will ever forget.
