Let's take a trip down memory lane. Our story begins back in 1991. I had just graduated from 8th grade and Angelo was a freshman. Most of you know that I met Angelo through his brother and wife (Anthony and Becky) because I used to babysit their two boys, Gabe and Andrew. They had attended church with us at Salinas Full Gospel. Anthony and Becky would go on date nights and ask if I could babysit the boys. Several times, Gabe would let me know he had an uncle but at that time, I was not into boys at all and did not care to meet him. Later that year, our Youth group went on a snow trip and I met Angelo for the 1st time. I ended up riding in the van where he was and we quickly hit it off just by talking the whole way up to the snow and the whole way back. We continued to talk and see each other just as friends at church, attending events and doing more activities together even taking a trip to Hawaii in 1992. This continued on for a year and finally, my Junior year in high school we became official.
The rest was history and we have become inseperable ever since doing everything together. I remember date nights would be with my father-in-law, Sammy who would take Angelo and I to the bowling alley while Sammy would play in the bowling league. I would stand there and watch Angelo play video games the entire night. Or, my mom would take Angelo and I and drop us off at Great America every now and then. Everyone knows a regular date however, involved going to the mall and the famous landmark called Aladdin's Castle lol. I am not sure how many hours of 'dating' back then was spent watching Angelo play video games...but I know it definitely was a lot! lol
Here we are, three children later. Matthew, Kayla and Zoey who completed our family of 5. Angelo and I have been together for 30 years, throughout high school and now about to renew our vows 25 years later in the exact same place. We have been able to travel the world together, creating so many memories. YOU know we love attending SPORTING events, and we have made it our mission to visit as many NFL stadiums together as we can.
With ups and downs, sharing in each other's joys and sorrows, life's special moments and memories, we are beyond BLESSED to know we are still here together. We know what we have been blessed with, TRULY needs to be celebrated and we are more than honored to have you join us for this very special occasion.
