Indian River, Michigan, is perfectly situated to give you a true "Up North" experience. Nearby lakes offer plenty of opportunities for boating and fishing. At the same time, miles of trails and several state parks invite you to hike, bike, and explore. Adventure seekers can rent ATVs or kayaks to ride the fastest river in Michigan's Lower Peninsula, or take it easy and float along in a tube for a laid-back afternoon in the sun. If you're up for a bit of exploring, Petoskey and Mackinaw City are just a short drive away, offering shops, restaurants, and classic northern Michigan sightseeing.
