Luke and Lydia's love story began many years ago, when their fathers, both preachers, brought their families together in Michigan for a revival meeting at Lydia's home church. Lydia was just six years old, and Luke was eight, when they first met. They crossed paths again three years later, but it wasn't until May 23rd 2023, when Lydia's family visited Texas, that their eyes truly met. Over supper at Luke's house, they felt an undeniable connection.

Fast forward to June 2023, when God called Lydia's family to Texas, and their paths converged once more. This time, their bond grew stronger with each passing day. On July 2nd, Luke asked for Lydia's phone number, and their first date at Andys Frozen Custard marked the beginning of an unbreakable friendship.

As they explored life together, their adventures became more frequent, and their connection deepened. On August 12th, Luke asked Lydia to be his girlfriend during a picturesque picnic.

They grew closer and closer to each other while serving the Lord together, in church bus and children's ministries at Grace Baptist Church.

As they watched the sunset together on Saint George Island, Florida, Luke confessed his love for Lydia for the first time on October 20th.



Their love continued to flourish, and on May 23rd 2024, Luke led Lydia to the top of Mount Bonnell in Austin TX, where he asked her to be his forever. She said YES!
Every Saturday, they enjoy coffee dates, savoring their love and the memories they've created together.
