We will already be going into the park on the day of our elopement, but if you have extra time, we highly recommend driving around the park to get the incredible views and try to view some wild life. If you are interested in hiking, please reach out to us for any recommendations.
The Tram in Jackson is close to our hearts, as this is where we became an official couple. You can ride the tram up to the top of the mountain and you get incredible views of Idaho, the town of Jackson, and all of the surrounding mountains. There is a restaurant that serves basic foods and drinks. Tickets are about $40 to $50 per person.
Driving through the Elk Refuge is a great opportunity to view a plethora of wildlife. We have seen a badger, herds of elk, herds of big horned sheep, and other critters there.
If you choose to go to Yellowstone, it is a rather lengthy drive from Moose and there is usually a long line to get into the park. Regardless of these things, there are beautiful waterfalls, wildlife, geysers, and hot springs to view once you get in.
