Our story started in the fall of 2019 at the University of Maine where we were assigned to the same group for a class project. Even though we met a few times for the project and had each other’s numbers, we never met outside of class. 

It wasn’t until Valentine’s Day 2020 when we swiped right and matched on tinder, that's when “our story” started to be told. A week later we went on our first date at Applebees where we talked and laughed all night. In April we upped our relationship status to official boyfriend and girlfriend and haven’t looked back.

The world seemed to stop during COVID however even with the lockdowns, restrictions, and quarantines- we made it through. In May of 2021 our relationship progressed further and we took the exciting step and decided to move in together. As like every relationship, living in with someone for the first time is exciting - like learning each other’s quirks, likes and dislikes. Like how Josh enjoys watching every NFL football game during the season....thank god I found DraftKings. Or how Lyndsey's preference is dishes being done right after dinner... dishpan hands are not a great look on Josh. My favorite thing though has to be when Josh gets hot while sleeping he always thinks I'm cold and decides to bury me in a mountain of blankets. 

In January 2022 we brought home our sweet lab pup, Miley. A little fun fact about Josh is he actually has “Miley” tattooed on his forearm.

On December 21, 2022, Josh decided to surprise me and take me to the Ports of Italy and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay.  The brisk walk was absolutely stunning as we were surrounded by beautifully lit up trees.  At the end of the walk, Josh surprised me and got down on one knee and proposed.

We’re so excited to share one of the best days of our life with everyone we love.  We appreciate all the love and support each of you have given us during our journey.
