The Beginning (2014) Lyndsey and Kyle have known each other since Junior High School and became closer friends when they both enrolled at Seattle Pacific University in the Fall of 2012. They both were living in the same dormitory and began to take late evening walks freshman and sophomore year. From downtown Seattle to Discovery Park, the two would walk in the night and chat about life &amp; each other. In the Spring of 2014, the ever bold Kyle accidentally called Lyndsey his girlfriend walking back from Upper Queen Anne and the gig was up. The next evening, walking back to campus, Kyle began to hold Lyndsey’s hand and the rest was history. The Proposal (2022) On a cold, rainy December evening, the two embarked on what was supposed to be a Christmas Light viewing in the Seattle area. Afterwards, Kyle suggested an “impromptu” trip to Discovery Park to revisit a common viewing spot that Kyle and Lyndsey had frequented in their early dating days. After reminiscing over the beginning of their love story and quietly watching the rain fall over the Sound, Lyndsey turned around to see Kyle on one knee with a ring in hand. “Yeah baby!”﻿
