Can we bring our kids?
While we are requesting no children at our wedding ceremony and reception, we understand people may want to bring their children to Italy.
We will have hired babysitters in a space in the venue, equipped with games, etc. to keep your kids busy if you decide to bring them. We will also have a room available where the babysitters can take children for naps, etc.
How do we get to the venue?
There is a 6 person gondola that you will take to get to the venue. We will purchase the gondola tickets for all of our guests, and they will be handed out to you at the gondola station.
We will also have transportation provided to the venue from your accommodations. If you would prefer to drive yourself to the gondola station, you can park there for free - just tell us your license plate number.
How do we get down from the venue?
We will have vans available to drive people back down to the town. It is about a 10-15 minute ride.
If you have a child, they will have a basic car seat/booster seat, but nothing for infants or babies. You are encouraged to bring a travel car seat if you think you will need something other than what is provided.
Once down from the venue, we will have complimentary transportation available to bring you back to your accommodation.
Where should I stay?
Any of the hotels we have listed are great options. There are more hotels out there you can find on Google. You can also look through Airbnb, VRBO, or other websites for apartment rentals or chalets/villas. NOT ALL ACCOMMODATIONS HAVE AC, so if you want AC be sure to ask before you book!
Colfosco/Colfosch is a quieter town. Corvara is a bit more centralized with more restaurants and shops. Corvara is about a 5-7 minute drive from the wedding venue gondola station. We will have buses/vans available to transport people to the gondola from both towns.
How long will you guys be there?
We will be out in Colfosco area a few days before and after the wedding so we have plenty of time to spend with family and friends :)
What's the difference between the towns Colfosco and Corvara?
Colfosco and Corvara are just a 5 minute drive, or about a 15-20 minute walk apart. Colfosco is where the wedding venue is located, and Corvara is the town next door.
Corvara has more of a centralized "down town", with shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Colfosco is a bit quieter than Corvara, consisting mostly of hotels/chalets and some restaurants.
When should I book my hotel?
The sooner the better! July is a busy season, so you'll want to make sure to book an accommodation with enough time to get the one you really want.
Where can I find your registry?
Since our guests will be spending so much to travel to Italy from all over the world to celebrate with us, we will not be asking for gifts. Your presence is all we need!
