Emanuel and Lynette first met in Atlanta, Georgia at a high school football game. After the game, the two partnered at a local spot for tacos and margaritas (Lynette's favorite). The were smitten from that day forward.

Emanuel popped the question on December 11, 2021 in Durham, NC. Lynette said yes with no hesitation.

The couple now resides in Downtown Dallas, TX.
