Together Forever, Forever Together

Their journey began April of 2004 in the Monroe Michigan Big Lots.

Chris was 14 wandering around the store with groomsman Jason Day. Lynn was 16 and noticed her high school friend Kalynn acting peculiar glancing randomly down isle ways. Lynn began to do the same and noticed a cute boy staring back at her. Each isle they would catch a glance and smile. While cashing out Lynn asked Kalynn "Do you Dare me to give him my number? " Kalynn laughed "yea Lynn I Dare you". So Lynn quickly wrote down her number and rushed through the store with butterflies 🦋 in her stomach to find that cute boy. She shyly walked past, tapped him on the shoulder, handed him her number and ran out the store. 😆

Later that night Chris called Lynn and they found they both lived in Maybee. They agreed to try to walk to met halfway. Kalynn's twin sister went to bed while Lynn and Kalynn called Tiffany, a friend who had her license, and she drove them towards Chris's grandparents' house as he and Jay walked. Tiffany dropped them all back off at Lynn's parents.

They all hung out in the pole barn until Lynn's Dad walked out and said "Boys need to go Home". Chris and Jay walked out into the dark night through the country about five miles to Chris's Grandparents. Lynn was grounded for the first time for 2 weeks!

After Chris and Lynn's first official date was at Xanadu Skateway. Couples skate song by 98 Degrees Everything became their special song. 🛼 🎶

Chris and Lynn dated thru Easter, Football Fridays and Lynn's Junior Prom. Interests took them in separate ways. But the universe had other plans. One night in 2005 at Blockbuster Chris noticed Lynn. This time Chris wrote Lynn and email 📨. Eventually they would hang out again. Working in Fast Food Services they had an apartment together for a few years. Life continued with ups and downs, taking them apart to grow but always pulling them together.

They bought a house together in Petersburg in 2013. The following year they had Shawn. Together they have been remodeling that house room by room into a home.

Easter of 2023 Chris asked Lynn's Father for permission to propose. Lynn said Yes on July 5th, 2023 on the Beach of Port Crescent State Park after kayaking through a thunderstorm with Chris and Shawn.

Shawn turned 10 years old in 2024.

Lynn and Chris will celebrate 20 years of Growth and Love.

Together they would love to share a Dinner Dance evening with friends and family!
