...the new way of meeting others; online dating...

Who knew the first wink would lead to the first phone call, first date, and now the first dance~

Lisa and Lynne met at the Cheesecake Factory for their first date. The online dating world was new and uncomfortable for both because they are "old school" and use to meeting others in person. At the same time, Lisa and Lynne were both busy with single parenting; raising their own children, and working full time, so online connecting proved to be very convenient.

Once the online connection was made, Lisa and Lynne emailed frequently and talked on the phone for months before they actually decided to meet in person.

And then it began~

Lisa walked into the Cheesecake Factory, while Lynne waited outside watching and wondering if Lisa was actually who she said she was. Sure enough, Lisa walked into the resturant confident and was exactly who she said she was...

Lynne followed Lisa and entered the resturant socializing with others she met walking from her car to the entrance of the resturant. Lisa believed Lynne must have made an escape plan, with the people she was talking to, in case the date did not work out. That could not have been further from the truth. Lynne was actually doing what Lynne does...socializing!

For the next 11 years, Lisa and Lynne shared in raising a total of 5 children into beautiful, loving young adults; each with their own personality and gifts. Between the two, they have 2 high school seniors graduating June 2022, 1 sophomore in college at Emanual in Boston, and 2 finishing up their high school years, with bright futures in front of them.

Throughout their relationship, the children remained the priority so Lisa and Lynne consciously chose to live in separate towns, raise their children in their respective school districts, maintain their children's group of friends, community connections, activities and relationships with their families of origin.

Lisa and Lynne also shared in the blessings of life such as celebrating birthdays, witnessing success of friends and families, attended every child's special moment, sharing in both sets of their parents lives, enjoy sporting events, concerts and family travel.

Now comes August 7, 2022. It is Lynne and Lisa's time to be together in a way not had before; it is their day to celebrate, with all of you, their amazing relationship and commitment to each other. This will be a day of joy, laughter, fun and adding new memories to our landscape~
