Father's Day 2019 - I joined my dad to finish out a bowling league due to mom not being able to finish out the league that summer. This handsome guy was in the same bowling league. I tried not to notice him, but week after week I couldn't help to look for him.

Fast forward to April 2021 - Mutual friends invited each of us to go to Dayton, TN for a Saturday evening Bowling tournament, we all had a fun night of bowling, It turned cold by the time we got back to Dalton and while we were standing in the parking lot talking I grabbed a blanket out of my car and was wrapped up in it. Bud was standing there in the parking lot getting cold. I offered to share my blanket with him and he took me up on my offer.

It took Bud about a month to get up the nerve to ask me out. We had our first date on May 15, 2021. On December 20, 2025 Bud asked me to marry him (finally).

Years later here we are finally tying the knot!!!
