The tinder swindler struck again… Only this time, only hearts were stolen. Lynnea and Nicholas both “swiped right” and took a leap of faith. After a couple weeks of constant back and forth communication, we went to Culver’s for our first date (in case we needed a quick out). Little did Lynnea know; she’d miss coaching volleyball that evening, and the rest would be history!

We began formally dating in April of 2018. We met each other’s families, friends, and got to know each other on a deeper level with the passing of each day. Nicholas met Lynnea’s sister Carmen and brother-in-law Jordan with no hesitations and quickly passed the test by bonding over dinner and board games and with their two goofy dogs. Lynnea met Nicholas’ infamous sister Kyleen and by the end of the night, she announced to him, “you better marry this girl and not mess this up!”.

Nicholas finally lived up to Kyleen’s expectations in June of 2021 by getting down on one knee while hiking at Amnicon Falls State Park!

Over the years we added Jinx (cat) and Zuko (dog) to our family, went on numerous vacations and excursions, found way too many restaurants with delicious food, and are attempting a house remodel!
