Matt and Mabrey met at a bar on the first day of their senior year at Mizzou. They officially started dating a few months later.

Mabrey graduated from Mizzou and moved to Kansas City for work. Matt stayed at Mizzou for one more year while he got his master's degree in Accounting. This began their 4-year stretch of long distance dating!

Matt graduated from Mizzou and moved back to St. Louis to begin work at PWC. Mabrey was still working at Cerner in KCMO!

Mabrey was accepted into Physician Assistant school and moved to Carbondale, IL. Matt came and visited as much as her studying schedule would allow!

Matt moved to Nashville, TN with three of his friends while Mabrey finished PA school. Long distance was almost over!

Mabrey moved to Nashville right after she graduated from PA school. They took a trip to Italy to celebrate. During that trip, Matt proposed to Mabrey along the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy!

Matt and Mabrey will be married at the Simpson House in November and cannot wait to celebrate with all of their closest friends and family!
