Ravyn had gotten home from basic training a few days prior to meeting Mac. Ravyn and Mac's mutual friend, Rene, had asked Ravyn to go out for some drinks. Ravyn said that she was way too tired and was about to head to bed. While cuddled up under a dozen blankets and a good movie picked out, Rene sent Ravyn a snap chat video of this (super hot) drunk dude with his arms spread wide saying "come to my party!!!" So of course, how could anybody say no to THAT!? Ravyn had never moved so fast in her life getting ready to head to the party! The party consisted of Mac, Rene, and Dakota (some party! haha) Mac challenged Ravyn to game of beer pong and the rest is history! Well.. Kinda. Ravyn chased Mac for a few months, then Mac chased Ravyn for a few months, then a friend finally told them to stop acting like children and start dating. Thennnn the rest became history!:)

Mac and Ravyn went on vacation to Cancun, Mexico! Mac and Ravyn spent the whole evening at the pool and were getting ready to head to dinner. The whole party insisted on taking pictures down by the Cancun sign. Of course Ravyn could not figure out what the desperate need was to take a picture in front of the sign, in our swim suits, during a storm. Turns out, Mac about to propose on the beach during sunset. But good old mother nature had different plans. Mac said that his nerves and anxiety refused to wait another day and decided he was going to do it rain or shine. So, there they were, in the downpour, in front of the bright neon Cancun sign, Mac down on one knee... Ravyn has a stigmatism and was basically blind from the bright light and rain and had to ask Mac about 60 times if he was lying or not... needless to say, he was not lying! That moment was so imperfectly perfect and the two could not have asked for a better memory!:)
