Here is a little background on how we ended up here...

We both attended Scott County High School, however our story starts when Macey was living across the world in Brisbane, Australia. While we were both aware of each other, we never crossed paths until Ryan decided to DM Macey on Instagram in 2016. Romantic... we know, but all it took was one message and we were staying up all hours of the night to talk to each other due to the 14 hour time difference from Brisbane to Georgetown, Kentucky. Macey moved back home in December and in January 2017, we were going on our first date to see La La Land at the Georgetown Movie Theater.

From there, we went on to graduate high school together in 2018 and began college at The University of Kentucky as Business and Education majors. Our relationship continued to grow throughout the years and in 2020 we adopted a puppy together. Our sweet Eevee girl! We made countless memories in college and graduated from UK together in 2022.

That brings us to today. On August 20th, 2023 Ryan took Macey for a walk around the Henry Clay Estate in Lexington. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and each other's company. When we got to the end of the path, Ryan had set up rose petals in a beautiful part of the yard where he gave a sentimental speech and got down on one knee to ask Macey to marry him. Finally!

We have waited for this moment for many years and we are beyond excited to share our special day with you in September 2024!
