Troy and Macey both started medical school at UAMS in Little Rock and met on their first day of orientation

2020

They began dating two years later withtheir first date at Ciao Baci in Hillcrest

2022

Troy and Macey both applied to Pediatrics and “couples matched” into their first-choice program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center

2024

Troy proposed to Macey on May 14 in Punta Cana while on a pre-graduation celebratory vacation

Two weeks later, Troy and Macey graduated medical school both earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees

Troy and Macey moved to Memphis and began working as resident physicians at Le Bonheur Children’s and St Jude

Troy and Macey are now second-year residents witha year and a half left before becoming pediatriciansTroy plans to specialize in Neonatal Intensive CareMacey plans to specialize in Hematology-Oncology
