Wedding Party

Haley Sidlasky
Haley Sidlasky - Maid of Honor
Growing up, Haley was the closest thing Macey had to a sister. They shared clothes and headphones in the car on the way to Rico's hockey games. They played Barbies and shared American Girl Dolls, and Haley taught Macey how to love ranch dressing. They snuck the ends of breads and dipped them into pots of sauce at their grandmother's house and made Walmart inspired gingerbread men cookies every year. Haley helped Macey get ready for her first date (in which the boy had no idea it was a first date), always helped Macey apply her red lips before a dance recital, and curled her hair for every homecoming. It only seems fit that Haley continues to help Macey get ready one last time. From crayons to perfume, Haley has always been steadfast and loyal, the kind of confident and secure woman Macey strives to be. She is lucky to call Haley a cousin, a sister, a friend, and now her Maid of Honor.
Brittany Evans
Brittany Evans - Bridesmaid
Brittany and Macey first met when they accidentally sat next to each other in Eckerd's Autumn Term class: the Art and Science of Biology. After finding out that they both shared a favorite movie-- Les Miserables (yes, even with Russel Crowe)-- they began to spend more time together. From Rays games to burrito nights in Downtown Saint Petersburg, Brittany and Macey moved in together and were inseparable for the next three years (except for when Macey abandoned her to go to London for a semester. We don't talk about that anymore). Through date days to SeaWorld, binging reruns of Doctor Who, and late night ice cream runs, Macey conditioned Brittany to love One Direction AND Ed Sheeran. Despite that Britt now lives in Hawaii, the two still keep in touch and visit as much as possible. Brittany will forever be Macey's voice of reason, her constant adventure buddy, the Sherlock to her Watson.
Roan Vaughan
Roan Vaughan - Bridesmaid
Roan and Macey met during a WIND (Writers in Need of Direction) Meeting one summer. Roan told Macey that she thought Macey was "so cool" because she was wearing a leather jacket (faux, by the way). After spending an entire summer writing an awful script about a band member who just wanted to play chess, the two developed a friendship based on love, laugher, Harry Styles and Cannoli Glows. Roan is now Macey's go to for everything: they share an avid passion for reading, writing, and Halloween. There is no one Macey would rather lock arms with while navigating haunted houses and jump scares (and this includes Peter. At least Roan will protect Macey). It is Roan's creativity, constant support, warm heart, and curiosity that keeps this friendship fun, and Macey knows that they are destined to be a part of one another's lives forever: it's the body and the blood after all.
Zoe Grant Hampton
Zoe Grant Hampton - Bridesmaid
The first time Macey met Zoe she thought she was going to puke. Pete had talked avidly about his daughter, and Macey could feel the love from him when he bragged about her intelligence, her dedication, her humor. And so, when Macey sat across from Zoe at Chuy's one night, she knew she had to make a good impression. But, thankfully, that was the easiest thing. Zoe is kind and welcoming, funny and bright. She has welcomed Macey into her family with open arms, and they share a love for romance books and Taylor Swift, a covent that cannot be broken. Sometimes, when Zoe and Macey and Peter go out for dinner, Peter sits in silence and just lets Zoe and Macey catch up, because have you heard about the new Reputation (Taylor's Version) theory? Macey is in awe of Zoe's independence and resilience and cannot wait to grow with her even more. She's excited to welcome Zoe into the Sidlasky family for more crazy Christmases, New Orleans road trips, and everything in between.
Tyler Hamilton
Tyler Hamilton - Best Man
Tyler has always been more than a nephew to Peter. From the moment Peter saw Tyler, Peter knew that their family was in for an adventure, mainly because of his inquisitive eyebrow (a trait passed on from Peter's own father, indicating their curious nature). From little buddy, to friend, to best man, Tyler has been a constant source of inspiration for Peter. He is loyal, family-oriented, God-fearing, and loving. Together the two enjoy hanging out, going to Rays games, and discussing their favorite team, GO DAWGS! Peter cannot wait to have Tyler by his side on his wedding day, as Tyler is more than a best man. He is a brother.
Malik Satchell
Malik Satchell - Groomsman
Malik and Peter first met at Grand Hampton in passing. When Malik began to work with Peter, the two created an almost instant bond: their friendship grew into a brotherhood. From late night-texting about baseball games or discussing anything Tampa Bay related, the two love to catch up and watch games, eating appetizers and placing half-hearted bets on players and teams. No matter the distance between the two, since Malik lives in New York, Malik and Peter always pick up right where they left off. Time and space is no match for them, as their reunions all begin and end with the biggest hug. They are brothers at heart, ready to share this next adventure together.
Ronnie Hampton
Ronnie Hampton - Groomsman
Ronnie knew Peter before Peter even knew who he was. Peter was, in fact, Ronnie's "Little Mascot." Ronnie took Peter to batting cages, arcades, and his favorite diner to show him off. Peter cannot imagine how much money Ronnie spent on him while growing up, but Peter also cannot fathom how he never won against Ronnie. He is convinced Ronnie never let him win, which gave Peter his competitive spirit. Ronnie has been there since day one. He has never failed Peter and has always been supportive no matter what. Ronnie is more than a brother, he is a father figure (which makes sense because he is their mother's favorite!). It only seems fair that as Peter finds a new partner in crime with Macey, that his original number one is at his side as he says "I Do."
Rico Sidlasky
Rico Sidlasky - Groomsman
Peter and Rico met one evening at one of Macey's family's many get togethers. The two engaged in conversation over dinner, discussing tattoos and Halloween and horror movies. From that point forward, the two have always been able to connect and share lighthearted conversation. It wasn't until recently that Peter and Rico began to really connect, talking of love, life, and everything in between. Peter feels blessed that Rico is becoming a part of his family, and only hopes that Rico feels the same way about Peter becoming a part of his. The two can't wait to spend more time eating delicious food while the rest of the Sidlasky clan continues to talk loudly over one another across the dinner table.
Will Gonzalez
Will Gonzalez - Groomsman
Peter has never met someone who is more competitive at Uno than Will, which doesn't really check out since the first time they met, Will was in the gym, hesitant at all the machines. They got to know each other through working at Grand Hampton, where Will shared his quick smiles, his positivity, and his lending hand. Will is loyal and true, even if he cheats at UNO. He is the first one to respond in group chats about making plans, and follows through on everything: everyone can count on Will. He started out a fellow worker but became a very dear friend, and Peter is excited to have his infectious spirit present on his wedding day.
