On April 23, 2021, they officially began dating, doing their best to keep things quiet while Maci was still just 15 and Jayce was 17. Over time, their love for each other only deepened.By 2024, they had started to dream about their future together. Jayce invited Maci to Japan—not only for a vacation, but also so she could meet more of his family. Maci was thrilled at the idea, especially since they had been discussing the possibility of a future together—and maybe even making Jayce’s family her own one day.After months of planning, they finally boarded a flight out of Minneapolis on March 7, 2025. Their time in Japan was unforgettable—exploring Tokyo, meeting loved ones, trying new foods, and soaking in the culture. Then, on March 10, 2025, something truly magical happened. At the iconic Tokyo Tower, surrounded by Jayce’s grandparents, mom, and sister, Jayce got down on one knee and asked Maci to spend forever with him.
