Our Wedding

Kai and I were neighbors in 2019 until my family and I moved in 2021. I would always watch him out of my window and wonder how old he was. I had never talked to him or anything but always wanted to. I was very shy so I obviously wasn’t going to. In January of 2021 I had just gotten out of a relationship and wanted a boy best friend because I had never had that. I messaged Kai on tiktok asking if he knew we were neighbors and he said yes. (I was 14 iand he was 16) After that we would text here and there. On March 28, 2021 something told me to text him again so I did. I text him and said “I know this is random and I know we never talk but do you want to ft.” So we facetimed and he was with his cousin at the time riding around on backroads. It kept cutting out so he said he would call me when he got to his cousins house. He called me when he got there and we talked till 4 in the morning. I told him I was really scared to move too fast, so we talked for about 2 months. He then asked me to be his girlfriend on June 6, 2021. We have been inseparable ever since.

Our Love Story 

On December 14,2024,  the day after my birthday, all I wanted  was to go eat at Olive Garden with his family and my family. Kai was so quiet when we went to eat, which isn’t like him at all. I already had this feeling that he was going to propose to me but I just didn’t know when. We planned to go see Christmas lights after we got done eating. When we got there he said show me a spot you want to take some pictures. When I found a spot, he got down on one knee. It was the sweetest proposal and we are both so thankful to have been surrounded by people that we love.
