Our Wedding

Me and Riley officially met in June of 2017, when my sister and her boyfriend (now husband) took me fishing. Shortly after, he slid up on my snapchat story with heart eyes and ever since that, the rest was history! July 14th, 2017 Riley asked me to be his girlfriend on his 17th birthday in the Victoria mall parking lot after his birthday dinner at Casa Ole. I asked him if he was sure he wanted to share his birthday with our anniversary and he said “yes, so I will never forget” hahah! Since that day, we have been inseparable! Of course we went through rough patches because love is not always easy and everyone knows that, but we have both grown together as we matured and I have always known that I would someday marry this man! Now the proposal! So, everyone knows we love to travel and are always on the go. Well I had no idea about this trip. I did not know where we were going, what we were doing, or how long we were gonna be there. I did not find out where we were going until we took the exit that said “Fredericksburg”, and I was so so excited! The thought did cross my mind of him proposing, but I did not want to get my hopes up. I was thinking he would be so nervous and would be acting weird if it was happening and he wasn’t acting different at all. The first night we went to dinner and had a chill night because we were going hiking early at enchanted rock the next morning. That morning, on our way to enchanted rock, we passed cross mountain and Riley says, “we are going to hike that later in our nice clothes before dinner”. So knowing myself, I say, “I cannot hike that in boots and a dress!” LOL. So we hike enchanted rock and come home and start getting dressed for dinner. We leave the house and are heading to town to kill time before dinner, and Riley quickly turns around in town and acts like he forgot that we had to go to cross mountain. So we drive there and i’m like we really aren’t about to do this because I am seriously in boots and a dress! WELL, we start walking up the mountain (wasn’t bad at all) and there are people walking down as we are going up. We get to the top, and we are the only ones up there. Riley starts taking pictures of me and then I see this couple with a camera that were taking pictures of each other. I had my sunglasses and phone in my hand; Riley grabbed them and set them on the ground ,and then he started kneeling down and reaching in his boot… my heart dropped immediately and then the couple started taking pictures of us! This was the moment I had been waiting for my whole life! Both of us shaking and crying so much, I said yes to forever! Everything could not have been more perfect! To think that Riley did everything on his own will forever be so special to me! From booking the trip, making reservations, finding photographers, thinking of the spot at cross mountain, asking both of my dads, and designing the most perfect ring ever for the past 8 months before he proposed all by himself, really shows me that I am truly blessed. Thinking of life before him is so completely different and I thank God everyday for blessing me with Riley when He did. From my high school sweetheart to now my HUSBAND, I get to spend forever with the man of my dreams and be his WIFE!!!

If you are unable to travel to AZ, don’t worry, we will have an after party back home in TX for extended family and friends to attend on April 5th in downtown Victoria,TX at 7pm

Travel

You are more than welcome to join in on the fun, but don’t feel like you have to we just want to let everyone know what our plans are!  Thursday night we will be going into Scottsdale to the bars!  Friday the boys are playing golf during the day and the girls will possibly go to a cute brunch place and hang out by the pool at the house afterwards.   Friday evening get dressed up for the “night before” starting at 6:30!  Lastly, Saturday you can join us in the morning to get ready for our big day!
