We have a rare, childlike love. It grows everyday and is endless. It’s such an honor to be in this relationship and I see how special it is. We have to be the luckiest people in the world to have each other.

I once asked an older woman with an amazing love story what wedding advice she had for me. As they shared their love story, she told me the justice of the peace had told her to never be mad at the same time. I asked her if that was what did the trick. She exclaimed oh hell no! 75 years of marriage you’ll be angry at the same time! Said I asked again what the secret was. She said I always remember I love him more today than I did yesterday. She also said to remember that this is your best friend you’re marrying, so act like it.
