Unfortunately we have a set limit of guests that we can have and will only be able to accommodate for the guests who are invited.
How does the RSVP work?
When you go to the home screen of our wedding website there will be a button that says “RSVP”. When you click the button it will ask for your name. After filling out your name, you may find a list of names of others in your party. Please accept or decline the ones who will be accompanying you and which ones will not. This helps us get a head count for food and drinks. After accepting who will be accompanying you, a series of questions will appear. It will ask each individual who is coming to the wedding the questions. Some questions you may skip while some questions you have to answer. Once you finish the questions it will ask for your email so we know that you have RSVP!
Is the event inside or outside?
The Venue at Orchard Farms has a beautiful chapel where the ceremony will be held. The chapel is covered but is opened on the sides. The reception area is enclosed but has the option of opening their back sliding doors to their outside patio. Depending on the weather, we may have the sliding doors opened.
Is there a dress code?
Sunday best would work perfectly fine! The wedding colors are taupe, copper, blush pink, and cream if you would like to dress with the theme (this is not required). Since the event will be held in November, we suggest wearing something warm or bringing a jacket of some sort because you will be exposed to the elements.
Is there a meal provided?
Yes, we will have a meal provided! We will serve food after the bride and grooms first dance. This will be around 5:20ish.
Are there any fun things to do at the venue?
Yes! Orchard Farms has a beautiful pond at the back of their venue. You are allowed to fish but you must bring your own fishing pole and bait. You also must release the fish after catching. There is also a fire pit that you and your friends can sit around, make s’mores, and tell stories.
When should I arrive?
We ask that guests arrive at 3:15 so everyone can be seated before the ceremony starts. The ceremony will start at 3:30. If you arrive after the ceremony starts, you will be asked to wait outside the chapel until the bride has walked down the aisle to ensure nobody is accidentally captured in the pictures. Once the bride has made it down the aisle, you will be able to sneak in and take a seat.
Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?
Yes! There will be a cocktail hour right after the ceremony while the bridal party takes pictures.
