Cassie & Mack met in the Summer of 2019 at a place in Minneapolis called the Freemont. The night they met Cassie was working the front desk and greeted all guest that were entering the establishment. On Mack's way out that night he laid eyes on Cassie and approached her to vocalized how nice she looked. The night ended with Mack giving his number to Cassie. Cassie did not use the number and Mack believed that he would never see or hear from her again. 2-3 months later Cassie interviewed at Helena Autism Therapy Center for a role as a Speech Pathologist. At the time Mack also worked at this company as one of the Lead Mental Health Practitioner's. While Mack knew that the company was looking to hire a new Speech Pathologist, never in a million years did he believe that it would be the beautiful women he met months before. On the day of the interview, Mack seen Cassie in the lobby of the Autism Center and instantly went the other way. Mack was unsure if Cassie remembered the interaction from months before at the Freemont but did not want it to be awkward considering Cassie never used his number to text/call him. Fast forward about 2 months into Cassie getting the job and working with the kids on Mack's team at the time, the two found themselves in a room together collaborating about the client's needs. After the session when Mack was leaving Cassie asked Mack if he had ever been to Freemont in which he responded I go there all the time for "Two Dollar Tuesday's. Cassie proceeded to unlock her phone and go to her contact's and asked is this you? While Mack looked at his name and number that he entered months before he couldn't do anything but laugh and say yes that is me. The two laughed about it and went on about their day. Cassie still did not use the number until one she "she forgot" to turn her portable heater off in her office. Cassie texted Mack and requested for him to double check her office to ensure the heater was turned off. Mack agreed to check that it was off before locking up the building for the evening. Once again the two went their separate ways until one night when Cassie was working her second job at the Freemont. Cassie reached out to Mack and asked if he wanted to hang out sometime in which he responded "of course". The two ended up going on there first date at a place in Uptown Minneapolis called Uptown Diner. Over the next few months two went on several dates and eventually became a couple. Cassie and Mack ended up dating for a little over 3 years before Mack proposed on Valentines Day of 2023 at the same location they had their first date. The couple has been engaged since February 14th, 2023 and will be having their wedding on August 24, 2024. The couple is excited to host everyone and look forward to a lifetime of happiness together.
