Our Wedding

Our story began in the fall of 2019 after I had just moved to Lincoln to start dental school. I could tell you that Mackenzie and I met in some extravagant way fueled by foolish decisions and taking chances. However, that would be a lie. Mackenzie and I met on Hinge. After tirelessly swiping left, enduring date after date that only led to free drinks and awkwardness, she met me. I responded to her prompts and informed her that I in fact have one of the strongest meme games this side of the Mississippi. Also, that I’d be open to having a bulldog in the future. However, my memes and love for bulldogs didn’t win her over immediately. It took multiple attempts of asking her to hang out with me before my persistence overwhelmed her and she agreed to a date. We met at Corkscrew in Omaha for a glass of wine and dancing in Blackstone. That was my first and last Hinge date. From that point on we started seeing each other more. We introduced each other to our friend groups, officially started dating, met each other's families, and the rest is history. We quarantined together, did dental school together, and now we could not be happier to do life together!
