Getting To Our Wedding

Mt. Woodson Castle is located on a beautiful, quiet hillside about 40 minutes northeast of downtown San Diego. On our wedding day, we have arranged a shuttle bus service between Balboa Park in the city of San Diego and Mt. Woodson Castle!

Shuttle Information

Shuttle Departure Times: 2:30 PM from Balboa Park; 11:00 PM from Mt. Woodson Castle

Shuttle Pick-Up Location at Balboa Park: 655 Pan American Place, San Diego, CA.

Shuttle pick-up location is a bus stop in Balboa Park at the far end of the Pan American Plaza Parking Lot, close to the Spreckels Organ Pavilion Parking Lot.

Free parking is available in either lot and cars can be left here until 2:00 AM.

Parking at the Castle

Free parking is available at the Castle, and cars can be left overnight until 10:00 AM on Sunday.

Uber/Lyft

Ubers and Lyfts are available from Mt. Woodson Castle, but it is a more rural area and we anticipate that there may be longer delays and higher prices at the end of the night. Plus, we would love for you to keep celebrating with us on the shuttle home!

Getting to Happy Hour and the Brunch de Despedida

These events will be held in the city of San Diego! They will be close together but are generally not walkable distances. We recommend planning to carpool, rent a car, or to use Uber/Lyft throughout the weekend.

The Brunch is located in Balboa Park, very close to the Shuttle Pick-Up Location at 655 Pan American Place and the same parking lots (Pan American Plaza, Spreckels Organ Pavilion) can be used on Sunday as well!
