We met the way many modern love stories begin—online—but from the very first message, something felt different. It wasn’t long before we set up our first date at Independent. That night, we talked until closing time, completely unaware of how quickly the hours had flown by. It felt like we had just arrived, and neither of us wanted the night to end.

From that moment on, we were inseparable. Weeknights were filled with movie dates and hikes—any chance we could find to be together after work. At the time, we were both still living at home, so we made the most of every opportunity to spend time out in the world, getting to know each other deeply.

Eventually, we moved out, and we got to experience the exciting, sometimes chaotic world of independence—together. Our relationship was quickly tested by life’s bigger challenges: learning how to "adult" faster than most, and making one of our proudest decisions—buying and building our beautiful home together.

Through every high and low, we’ve leaned on each other. We’ve laughed, cried, grown, and supported one another through it all. And no matter what life has thrown our way, one thing has never changed: our love and respect for each other.
