Aiports, Rental Cars & Travel Tips:
Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN)
For guests that are looking to fly into Sun Valley - Hailey is about a 20 minute drive to Ketchum. Flights are limited so if you are planning on this, prepare to book in advance. Rental Cars are available at this airport as well and/or you can set up transportation to your stay.
Boise Airport
2.5 hour drive to Sun Valley, this airport has more flight options.
Road Trip
For Guest that want to make a Road Trip out to Sun Valley, this is the way we travel to Idaho and it's really not too bad. You can always break up the drive by stopping in Tahoe for the night or another location along the way, Elko is another easy stop along the way. It typically is about a 12 hour drive!

Limelight Ketchum
The Limelight is a great option in the heart of Ketchum, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, the river run lodge, and gondola. We have a Room Block code at this hotel - Code for room block is listed.
On wedding day shuttles will be picking guests up here for transportation to the venue (details on shuttles coming).
Pennay's At River Run
The Bridal Party will be staying at these condos! We have stayed at Pennay's over all of the years coming to Ketchum/Sun Valley - Summer & Winter. A very special place to our family that is conveniently located, right at the base of the mountain and short walk into town, there is also a lovely walking/biking trail that is steps away from Pennay's.
These condos will go quickly so if you choose this as your stay - we encourage you to move quickly to reserve your spot.

Hotel Ketchum
Hotel Ketchum is another great option for hotels, centrally located in Ketchum within walking distance to downtown restaurants, activities, and bars and close to a favorite after-ski bar, Grumpy's! There sister hotel, Tamarack is also centrally located in downtown Ketchum at a better price point

Although Sun Valley is very walkable, we do suggest renting a car as it is about 20 minutes from the airport. If you stay at certain hotels they have complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport. There are very few Ubers and Taxis so we suggest either renting a car or coordinating your travel in advance. If you are not staying at a hotel, you should familiarize yourself with the local FREE bus service, Mountain Rides, which runs every 15-30 minutes from 7:30 am to 2:00 am and drops passengers at the base lodges and in downtown Ketchum.
