Shane drove from Brinkley to Trumann for our first date. We had plans to go eat at Jerry's but no RSVP and because of the Holidays they were packed! So we settled on eating at the local Mexican Restaurant.

Shortly after we started dating, Shane asked me if I would go to his best friend's wedding with him on New Year's Eve (no pressure right)

I'm pretty sure I met the majority of the town of Brinkley that weekend and all of his childhood friends.

About a week before July 3rd, I received a text message from a photographer saying that I had won a free mini-session that my mom had nominated me for. I couldn't remember a giveaway being posted on facebook so I was immediately suspicious.

My mom and sister were able to help me shop, but didn't fall for any of my hints.

The day of Shane was so nervous and had started acting funny but I thought he was just nervous for pictures. When we got to the wildflower field I noticed that no one was leaving from the session before us, but didn't think too much about it. Meghan had us pose for a little bit before asking me to pretend I was at the kitchen sink while Shane was standing behind me. I turned around and he was on one knee! I'm not sure 100% what he asked but I said YES!
