Their story is about how a girl from New York and a boy from Ohio, somehow met and fell in love.

In November of 2020, Mackenzie was attending Ball State University working on her art education degree, and Michael was working at a Agriculture Dealership in Ohio. Their paths never crossed until the day they both decided to go on a dating app. They matched and after about 3 days of texting, they both decided to meet up for their first date!

After that first date, they went on 2 more dates before they made it official. Michael and MacKenzie lived about an hour apart from each other. They would alternate driving to one another every weekend to visit. Michael even made the occasional road trip out to New York while MacKenzie was home for the summers.

Once MacKenzie graduated college, they decided to move in together in June of 2022. They both started new jobs at this time as well. Michael began working at a Case IH dealership in Pendleton, and MacKenzie started working as an art teacher.

In July of 2023 they went on a trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee and Michael proposed at a place called Anakeesta, overlooking the mountains of Gatlinburg. It was a breathtaking experience and a moment that they will never forget.

Since then, they have been busy planning their wedding! They can’t wait to share their special day with you, and make you part of their story!
