Mac (Mackenzie) and I met in middle school, and right away we had to figure out the two-Mackenzie dilemma, so she became Mac and I became Kenzie. From that moment on, she’s been a constant in my life. Through every chapter, school, milestones, and growing up, Mac has remained one of my closest friends and a true main character in my story. Although we haven’t lived near each other for much of our adult lives, distance has never changed our friendship. We’ve always shown up for each other in the moments that matter most, celebrating the highs and supporting each other through everything in between. Mac is truly a lifelong friend and someone I cherish more than anything. She has grown into such an incredible person, kind, loyal, and endlessly supportive. Her laugh is infectious, and her smile has a way of lighting up every room she walks into. Even from afar, she always finds ways to make sure I feel her love, whether that’s sending flowers, thoughtful gifts, or a message at just the right time. Mac’s friendship means more to me than words could ever fully explain, and I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side on such a special day.

Nicole and I met as random college roommates our freshman year, but from day one, it felt like fate. We became instant best friends, and she’s been my go-to person ever since. We’ve laughed, grown, and navigated so many seasons of life together. After earning her master’s, Nicole made the move to Pensacola to build a life of her own here. Because of that, I’m lucky enough to have her present for both the big moments and the little ones. She has been one of my biggest cheerleaders and has had a front-row seat to Logan and my love story from the very beginning. In fact, she was the first person I ever told that I would one day marry Logan, and I’m so happy I was right. Nicole is a forever friend and truly the sister I never had. I’m so grateful for her constant friendship and excited to have her standing beside me on this day.

Logan and Mark’s friendship started in third grade over a Pokémon card trade on the school bus—and the rest was history. Growing up just a few houses apart, they were an unstoppable duo in the neighborhood. From basketball games and manhunt to pool days, golf course adventures, and even rolling down hills in giant plastic tubes, they made every moment count. Their bond only grew stronger through the years, especially when they lived together in Virginia while Mark was in medical school. Though they now live in different places, they still make time to catch up and relive the good old days.

Logan and Austin’s friendship goes back so far, no one’s quite sure when it began. From Cub Scouts to classmates in elementary school, their bond was built early and only grew stronger. In high school, they ran cross country and played tennis side by side. Later, they became roommates in Virginia with Mark, creating even more unforgettable memories. Whether it’s fishing, disc golf, or video games, Austin and Logan are always up for a good time. Their friendship has stood the test of time—and Austin was even there to celebrate just moments after Logan proposed to Kenzie.

As Logan’s older brother by a couple of years, Tyler has been by his side from the start—whether it was teaming up to tease their little sister or leading the charge in neighborhood adventures. Their bond has always been rooted in playful competition, mutual respect, and a drive to push each other to be better. Tyler has set the bar high, not just as a big brother, but as a role model—especially in the way he lives out his faith. His steady presence and character have made a lasting impact on Logan’s life.

Hannah and I met a few years ago while working side by side as RBTs, navigating long days, big goals, and lots of learning together. What started as a friendship at work quickly became something much more meaningful. Even as life shifted and she transitioned into real estate, building an incredible career for herself, our friendship never skipped a beat. Hannah is one of the most grounded and hardworking people I know. She approaches everything she does with intention, integrity, and heart. She’s the kind of friend who is always down for an adventure, always ready to celebrate, and always there when you truly need someone. Through every season, she has remained steady, loyal, and supportive, and I am so grateful that our paths crossed when they did. Having her stand by my side on our wedding day means more than I can put into words.

Katie is Logan’s sister and someone who has welcomed me into their family with open arms from the very beginning. She is such a fun-loving, artistic, and creative soul who brings so much warmth and light wherever she goes. Katie has the kindest and biggest heart of anyone I know, and the way she loves the people in her life is truly special. From the moment I met her, she made me feel included, supported, and loved for exactly who I am. She has such a beautiful spirit and a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable and valued. Whether it’s through her creativity, her humor, or her genuine care for others, Katie always brings something special to every moment. I never had a sister growing up, so gaining Katie as one has been incredibly meaningful to me. I’m so grateful for the bond we share and so happy that I get to officially call her my sister.
