Our Wedding

You could say our story started long before we even realized it. We grew up just minutes down the road from each other, attended the same small school from kindergarten through high school, and were often in the same classes. We were even on the same t-ball team! Over the years, we shared plenty of memories and always remained friendly, but it wasn’t until senior year, in a study hall class, that we truly connected. That’s when our friendship turned into something more, and we began dating! Throughout college, we stayed side by side, commuting to local schools while cheering each other on. After graduation, we took the exciting step of moving into our first apartment together. That same year, our family grew by one very furry, and very lovable, member- our dog, Nash!

Then came July 21, 2024—a day we’ll never forget. Evan planned a special day filled with a hike at Pilot Knob in Lake George, NY, followed by lunch. At the top of the trail, we reached a beautiful little gazebo, and there, with a nest of baby birds nearby and no one else in sight, Evan got down on one knee. Mackenzie was completely surprised and couldn’t stop admiring the ring all the way to lunch. But the surprises didn’t stop there. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by all of our family who had come together to celebrate. It was the best day ever! From childhood classmates to lifelong partners, our journey has been filled with love, laughter, and a lifetime of memories and we can't wait for the next chapter to begin.
