Our Story

<p>Roman and Mackenzie went to OBU on a preview day on the same day in February 2021. They didn't meet, but Mackenzie heard Roman's name and will never forget it. Fast forward to June 2022, at Falls Creek where Roman worked for the summer. He visited Mackenzie's cabin for lunch, where they officially met. Mackenzie embarrassed herself by telling Roman she was behind him in the bookstore at OBU and that is where she heard his name. At the end of the summer during welcome week at OBU Roman and Mackenzie were in the same color group. As school started they did homework together in a group and would see each other around campus. Mackenzie had liked Roman since meeting at Falls Creek, and Roman was quickly catching feelings. They both denied it for a while but eventually admitted their feelings and started dating in November. They hang out with their friends, do homework, and do ministry in Wewoka together. Mackenzie originally invited herself to help at the youth group with Roman...little did she know that would become their home one day. Exactly a year later, on their anniversary, Roman got down on one knee and she said YES! They are so excited to get married and start their next chapter together! And they would love for you to join them in this celebration!</p>

Cayden has been my best friend since we were 2 and 3 years old. We have gone through thick and thin together and I am so grateful to have her by my side on my special day.
