Cara, the sister I never had. We met the first day of classes freshman year of college at Auburn University (War Eagle!). Being in the same Sorority (AOII), we were encouraged to wear our bid day shirts on the first day of class so we could sit with our "sisters." I immediately spotted someone with a shirt that matched mine, and that person just happened to be Cara. I asked her to sit with me (which unbeknownst to me at the time she reluctantly obliged haha). She told me my "enthusiastic" personality was a little overwhelming initially haha. However, she came to realize that we are virtually the same in every way. Well... the rest is history. Instantly, we became best friends and were pretty much inseparable throughout our entire college experience. We've been through so much together - nursing school for her; graduate school for me; traveling (Texas; NYC; Florida - just to name a few); Taylor Swift concerts; new jobs; new states. Through everything, she has and will always be my go-to-girl. Her friendship has been one of my greatest blessings in life. I can't imagine anyone else holding the title of my Maid of Honor.
Lindsey Cunningham - Bridesmaid
Lindsey, my Audiologist best friend. We met at Auburn University in our Doctor of Audiology graduate program. You really get to know someone in a very close-knit, rigorous educational environment. However, not only is she my closest professional friend, she just happens to be one my closest friends in general. We've bonded over so many of our shared interests (being GA natives attending an AL school was a huge one). Thankfully post-graduate school, we both returned home to GA. You name it, we've probably been through it together. I would not be where I am today without this gal. I truly cherish our friendship, and I am so humbled that she would so graciously stand beside me on our big day!
Jordyn Robinson - Bridesmaid
Jordyn, my sweet cousin. She and I go way back. Whether it was watching her softball games growing up or playing in the sand at the beach, I've always looked up to her as a big sister. She has gracefully become the most caring mom to her two boys, Knox and Ridge - another trait that I admire so much about her. There's that saying: "you don't get to choose your family, but you do get to choose your friends." Well, I am so incredibly blessed that she assumes both of those roles. This day would not be the same without having her by my side!
Morgan Murphy - Bridesmaid
Morgan, one of my "God-sisters." Again, someone that I go way back with. She has always been someone that I've admired and respected. Her kindness and humor is unmatched. Not to mention she's an amazing singer. She's become the most amazing mom to her precious children: Parker, Avery Mack, and Oakland. We've been through countless vacations together (trips to Mayberry; beach trips; youth retreats; horseback riding). All filled with so many wonderful memories. She and I have always been a part of each other's big life milestones. Our wedding day is no exception to that, and she makes the perfect addition to our party!
Madison Gay - Bridesmaid
Madison, another "God-sister" of mine. We've known each other since we were little girls. I am so thankful that we share our love of Auburn with each other. In fact, we were in multiple Bible studies together throughout my college years. Her sense of humor is impeccable. I've always admired her heart for the Lord and aspire to live my life in a similar manner. She just became a mom to her beautiful baby, Henley. I can't wait to watch the way she cares and loves on her sweet girl. So grateful that I will have my Madi next to me during our wedding!
Caroline Parker - Bridesmaid
Caroline, my undergraduate program best friend. This girl and I were thick as thieves in the Communication Disorders undergrad program at Auburn. She just so happened to choose the far less superior field - Speech Language Pathology (totally kidding haha). Not only is she a top-tier SLP, she became one of my greatest pals. Even though we live in different states, she is one of those people that makes it feel as time has never passed when catching up. I can always count on her for a good time. She is a fashionista with a heart of gold. I can't wait to have her with me on our special day!
Neil Seymour - Best Man
Jake Osucha - Groomsman
Logan MacIntyre - Groomsman
Dylan Mcguire - Groomsman
MJ Hawkins - Groomsman
Anthony Rodriguez - Groomsman
Austin Chambers - Officiant
Sage Chambers - Flower Girl
Sage is Chris's niece. Sage is the sweetest little girl who never meets a stranger. We are thrilled to have her as our precious flower girl!
Knox Robinson - Ring Bearer
Knox is Jordyn's (Mackenzie's cousin) son. He has the kindest, most gentle heart - truly a friend to all. We are so excited to have him as our ring bearer!
