It never fails... when you're a couple as cute as Andrew and Mackenzie, people are just naturally going to want to know the story of how they met. In reality, it's probably a bit more accurate to ask "How long did it take for Andrew to track Mackenzie down so he could date her?"

It all started with Andrew's good friend Giulia--Andrew was living in North Carolina and Giulia's cousin, Mackenzie, would come to visit every year. Andrew, armed with the knowledge that Mackenzie was likely the most fun person ever, and undoubtedly super cute, made several attempts to meet her, alas to no avail. Finally, as millennials are oft to do, Andrew took his venture to social media: an Instagram request was his first move. When Andrew returned to the Midwest, he played the long game... like, super long game. Anyone that knows Andrew well, knows that he'll stop at nothing when he's got an idea on the brain--the other thing you probably know, is that he's almost always right. Touting Northwestern University's graduate programs, Andrew was set on getting his good buddy, Giulia, to Chicago. Within a year, Giulia had moved to Chicago. (He's good, folks. He's real good). The final piece of the plan was to get 'Cute Cousin Mackenzie' to follow suit.

As we all know, Mackenzie did, in fact, move to Chicago. When her plane touched down, Andrew was there.. her chariot awaited. Of course, for those who have had the pleasure of spending time with Andrew and Kenz... we all know there's no better way for this relationship to have started.

As a couple, their love of fun is infectious and I believe I can speak for all of us when I say that there is not a pair on this planet that can so effortlessly turn any situation into a good time. Together they are loving and generous and complement each other like dancing goes to music... you just can't have one without the other.
