The bride and Preslie met at Jordan’s family Christmas in 2019. Here they learned they were both to transfer to the University of Jamestown and apply for the nursing program. After one semester, they were almost inseparable. MacKenzie kept. Preslie company while she worked in Jamestown during the pandemic, and they decided to become roommates after the Covid semester was over. If you ask MacKenzie, she will say that going to her boyfriends family Christmas was the best decision she ever made. Preslie currently lives in Fargo with her boyfriend, Ryder, and works as a nurse in the intensive care unit at Sanford.

If you ask Kaycee, she will refer to the bride as her built in best friend. Born only 1 year, 24 days and 4 hours apart, these two spent their entire childhood, sharing a bedroom, memories, and of course many many secrets. Kaycee currently lives in Jamestown and works as a teachers aide at Gussner elementary.

Kenzie and the bride met when attending the university of Jamestown Nursing program. Kenzie, MacKenzie, and Preslie (MOH), made up a trio that spent almost every moment together as college suite mates, study buddies, and best friends. Currently, Kenzie lives in Fargo fiancé, Alex and she works as an RN on at same day surgery in fargo!

Amanda is the sister of the groom and met MacKenzie at a family party early in Jordan and MacKenzie’s relationship. Since then, Amanda has been a great listening ear and a giver of advice. If you ask the bride, Amanda she gave her the greatest gift of all time, being an aunt. Amanda has three kiddos, Callie (11), Oakley (3), and Hadlee (1) and is married to Dillon Lange (Groomsman). They live in Bismarck, where Amanda holds many roles of leadership as therapist at the kids therapy center as well as a professor at the University of Mary.

Cambrya is a long time family friend of the Ruff’s and one of MacKenzie’s close friends. She really represents the friends that have become family throughout time!❤️ Cambrya will be attending NDSU for nursing this fall!

Maddie and the bride go all the way back to preschool when they both attended kids kingdom, but their friendship really blossomed in seventh grade. Obviously, many ups and downs, occurred throughout middle school and high school, but it always ended with Maddie and MJ together. Are used to share many fond memories, including student athletic training for the football team, being on student council together, and sharing many Law and Order SVU dates. MacKenzie says that she wouldn’t be who she is today without the friendship of Maddie. Maddie recently moved back to Jamestown after finishing her Speech Pathology degree.

Jordan and Jackson have known each other for many years but it wasn’t until in the last few years that their friendship really sprouted. Jordan offered to help at their family farm and since then, it’s been hard for MacKenzie to keep Jordan at home. Jordan says that his favorite thing about Jackson is his ability to teach him how to fix things and work his way out of problems. Jackson currently lives in Jamestown with his wife, Lizzie, and are expecting their first child this March.

The brother of the bride, Jordan, might have hit it off with the groom faster than the bride did. Since getting to know each other, these “name twins” have spent countless hours in the garage, hunting fishing and talking sports together. Jordan is currently attending North Dakota State College of Science, studying welding and business.

Eric and Jordan have a “bromance” that goes way back to Healthways in middle school and high school. They spent a lot of time together during hockey and golf and their friendship has never faded, despite going separate ways after high school. Eric currently works as an intensive care unit nurse as Sanford here in Bismarck.

Alex and Jordan met a few years ago through MacKenzie’s good friend and Alex’s fiancé, Kenzie Carson. Jordan and Alex hit it off and enjoy talking about their many hobbies together. One of Jordan’s favorite memories with Alex is all of the times they have made breakfast together at the lake.

Jordan’s brother-in-law, Dillon has been in the Ruff family for the better part of a decade and has been a great support for MacKenzie and Jordan for their relationship. Dillon is married to Amanda (Jordan’s sister) and has three kiddos, Callie (11), Oakley (2), and Hadlee (1). He works for Heritage Exteriors here in Bismarck.

Carl grew up across the street from Jordan and they have just always been good buddies. Jordan says one of his most memorable time with Carl was going to Revelstoke, British Columbia to snowmobile. Carl currently lives in Mandan and works as a mechanic at River City.
